Before and after tiiiime!!! (Imagine that in a sing-song voice:) This is what you all live for right? The final reveal?! Boy, do we have a good one for you today!
Part of our process in any project is to do an initial client meeting, identify each of the clients needs, wants and desires for their space. After that meeting, we determined 3 elements of design we would focus on for this bathroom.
Let us take a walk down Memory Lane and see what we were working with.
Ahhh! DANK, dark, small shower. We will need to get rid of that! (That was my best impression of a snobby TV designer:)
The garden tub was a big culprit losing heat. There was no insulation behind the tub! We took out the tub and put proper insulation and a moisture barrier on all the walls. Viola! Heat loss problem solved.
Two small vanities divided by a leaking outdated garden tub. HMMM? Yeah, I think we can do better than that.
Now, let's take take a look at what we did with the space!
WOOT WOOT! Beautiful large glass enclosed shower. No more cave shower here! We also put heated flooring in the entire bathroom to add a bit more coziness.
The pebble flooring in the shower was one of the rustic touches.
The custom glass walls cut seamlessly around the bench is such a fantastic detail.
Stacked stone backsplash wall. PRETTY!
This vanity was custom made by a local carpenter to fit the space perfectly.
Oversized vanity lighting ensures the room has adequate task lighting. We also added can lights overhead. The room always feel bright and inviting!
Meet Molly, She was my favorite part of my site visits!
I hope you enjoyed seeing this space as much as I enjoyed designing it!
A couple shout outs-
We couldn't have done this without the beautiful construction work of More Brothers Construction
Custom Vanity was built by Charlies Woodwork
And the amazing after photos were done by Brandon Harwell Photography
If you have any project ideas or would like to give me feedback I would absolutely love to hear about it!
